Konocti in Lake County, CA, the Talleyrand micro-winery produces distinctive wines of special character from its 1.6 acre estate vineyard of Rhone Grapes. The winery is named after the vintners' cat, Talleyrand, who was named for Talleyrand the diplomat, owner of the famous Ch. Haut-Brion winery in the early 1800's.
